I shot one of these today and boy are they SWEET! I was hitting the heads of nails at 100 yards with this scope mounted on a .223 Are all these scopes good or did I just happen to stumble upon a good one? Any info would be awesome!
 
Glass is japanese, scope is assembled in China. 100-200 dollars. And what has
the scope got to do with an accurate gun?

I never said anything about making the gun more accurate, I just was wondering if these scopes are any good lol. Most rifles are more accurate than the shooter can shoot, the scope just helps the shooter out.
 
I have heard they have several problems, knobs fall off and such. I also saw a guy at the range one day with two custom tactical rifles and both were sporting Osprey's. He loved them. Go Figure???
 
I have an osprey and it has done everything I have asked of it. Is the glass as good as leupold, definetely not! It does get right on target and puts down coyotes. For the money i think it is a decent scope.
 
There are always a few scope dealers at the local gun shows selling the Osprey's. I have, at times, considered buying one to try. Then the horrors of cheap glass creeps into my brain and I walk away. Anyone need a new Tru-Glo crossbow scope? Its as clear as mud! And cheap!
