P.S. Olt Call

My husband and I were at a flea market this weekend and he purchased a P.S. Olt Call Pekin Ill. Reg. Trade Mark No. 348205 and it sounds like a malard call. Can anyone help us with the proper identification, age, and value of this call? There are several carvings on it, one of which is the date 1948. It still sounds sweet. Thanks for anyones help.
 
I tried to post a picture of it last night without success but I'll try again tonight. And no I didn't join this site just to get this info so I can sell it on ebay. My husband and I are duck hunters and when we saw it, it sparked our interest so we bought it for our personal use and enjoyment.

You need to upload your pics to a host/server such as Photobucket first then just post the link here. There are many knowledgeable folks here that I'm sure will help you identify that call. Many of those old calls were taken apart and used as predator calls back in the day.

I was wondering how to get my pic there so now I know, thanks for the help and I'll be posting it soon. I'm not at my personal computer now but when I'm on it then I'll get it here. Thanks again for all the kind words and the welcome.
 
You have an old P.S. Olt crow call. I bought three of the older styles from e-bay and one of them is the exact call you have. They sound pretty good too.
