Steve, I just picked up an old truck inner tube to make a deflector like, I think it was SkeetLee, had made for his to deflect the casings straight down into a towel/tray on the bench..
Hopefully, it will reduce the impacts on the rifle. Like Hangtime, mine usually comes off pretty easily...My only problem is on a painted rifle, it chips off the paint..
I have a brass catcher that velco's around the forearm, but if it shifts, it causes cases to get caught in the bolt carrier.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif
