I am shooting the Undertaker choke out of my Remington 870. At 40 steps it will put 38 out of 41 pellets in a hand sketched coyote target. I have killed two with it in the last month and I will have to say that buckshot is AWESOME. Its bang flop dead, no questions asked...lol.

I also use this choke during turkey season shooting #5's and it shoots those great too.

I use the Kick's Gobblin' Thunder .660 choke for exactly what you described. Winchester Supreme High Velocity no. 5's is murder for gobblers and Federal Premium no. Four Buck puts the smack down on coyotes. Both citters are in serious trouble out to the 50 yard mark if I do my part. If you haven't taken advantage of the archive files, please do so. Use the "search" feature in the upper right corner exactly between the two red snake eyes and type in "shotgun" or something like "choke", you'll get a ton of past discussion regarding this. Good luck and knock em' stiff!

canadian hunter312,
I would suggest trying your existing choke to see how it patterns, before purchasing another. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Between the 2 chokes that you're asking about, I'd suggest the Wad Wizard over the Patternmaster. Patternmaster's company changed hands a couple of times and during those periods there were some quaility control issues. I'm not bashing Patternmaster, but rather than take a chance with your hard earn money, I'd go with a Wad Wizard Supreme 12 choke tube.

Take a look at their patterns for yourself at www.wadwizard.com/SupremeBuckshotPatterns.htm and see what you think. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
