Hey guys,

I am looking to buy a new bow sight this year and because i often use a tree stand i hear a pendulum sight might be a good choice. I suppose my question is has anybody tried one, and if so how has it worked for you. Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I highly recommend the Predator, having used one for the last few years. Once you have it set it is absolutely DEADLY. Here's the link : Predator products. Get the illuminated model, it really can help those last 15 minutes of daylight.

I must be from the old school and would never us one. I only use one pin and learn to adjust for shooting from a tree. I friend uses one and last year in a stand that was on a hill he had an uphill shot at a nice buck and over his back by a mile the arrow did go /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif . to me its just another thing to go wrong. it just seems easier to shoot alot and know what your arrow is going to do if you shoot down hill. also i heard that you need to tune you're site to how high off the ground you are and if you have different stands set at different hights you're only good in one stand.I dont use mechanical broadheads either however a release I do use.Old habits are hard to break.

I shot one for a year or so....Works fine as long as you are shooting from a stand. It locks in for ground shot and is just like shooting one pin. Just make sure you set your stand to be ALL down hill shots. If you set up to were your even or uphill, the sight wont work, unless you lock it in and allow for the diffrence in angle. I desided it wasnt worth the trouble and as much as I shoot wasnt needed. But they are deadly if you shoot from a stand all the time, mine shot very well, just wasnt my thing.
