Pentax Precision Plex BDC

I did a search and couldn't find the answer I was looking for so here it goes.

I have read that the Pentax Gameseeker with the Precision Plex is made by Burris. I also read that the Pentax is made in China. My Burris says made in the Phillipines. My questions are - can anyone confirm where the Pentax comes from. I have read many people like them and was thinking about trying one out.

More importantly, I love the Burris balistic plex. Can anyone give me the technical particulars on the Pentax Precision Plex BDC. Specifically the drop in inches per stadia line. At max power my 3x9x40 FFII Burris shows roughly 3", 13", 28" and 55" of drop. With my loading manuals and chrono I have develooped loads that match the reticle and are very accurate out to 400 yards. Thats the longest I have shot so far. What are the specs on the Pentax.

Thanks.

I bought a Pentax Gameseeker 4-12x (packaged with a nice set of binoculars) from www.cameralandny.com The scope is made in China, but has VERY optics, crisp and clear image.

It's got the Precision Plex reticle, which are intended to be used with a 100 yd zero, the first line down is for 200 yds, the next for 300, etc. This assumes standard calibers and is obviously a rough guide to the actual trajectory.

Hopefully we'll get to shoot his 223 with this scope when he's home for Christmas.
