Peppers

The garden got a little ahead of me. Ive had a major yard project, put in a walk block walkway around the yard so my wife can get around and lowered the whole back yard 2" to get it re-stoned.

Yesterday picked all the peppers that were ready so it is a medley of Hungarian Sweet, Cajun Hot Bells and plobanos. Pickled them for Chicago dogs, burgers, brats and salads.

No garden this year after double carpal tunnel surgeries. relying on family to supply my wants. Got some pickled hot peppers from my sister in law from PA a couple weeks ago. Some pickled red onions from my little brother a couple days ago. Neighbor’s garden is doing well so looking forward to his contributions! Lol.

We’ve always shared the fruits of our labors so this year isn’t any different other than I’m a slacker! Lol. I had a pretty good excuse!!

They've aged enough. The other day I I tried this batch on a dog and they are great. I liked them so much today I toasted a bagel this morning, put a layer of cream cheese and topped it with pickled pepper, awesome with my hardboiled egg for breakfast. .
