Santa Clause brought me a Pulsar Apex XQ50 that I want to mount to a M77 in 25-06, but I am confused as to what rail I need.
The current receiver has Weaver two piece mounts with the front being a #35 and the rear a #79. According to Weavers website my two piece is the same as a #48912 "Grand Slam" one piece. Somewhere else I read that this same base will fit a Remmington 700 LA and a Howa 1500 SA, I also found a website that listed the hole pattern for the M77 and it matched a Merkel 98 (I hope I'm reading my notes correctly) hope someone can shed some light on this as I got a itchy trigger finger for the pair of yotes walking through my cattle yard!
