2003 Hummer H1 former Border Patrol extended cab truck I just bought from a buddy who had it for less than a week. Here's the ugly duckling before:

and here she is after.

I'm planning on building a platform to attach to the flange of the massive spare tire carrier in the back. Still trying to decide what lights to put on the vehicle. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Man that is sweet!! Night force lights and a platform on the back with 360* swivel chairs and shooting rest an you'll have a rig so nice the border patroll might wanna buy it back!!!

LOL, I hear those Border Patrol boys ride 'em hard and put 'em up wet. They aren't getting this one back. Only a very few extended cab trucks ever made with factory Eaton locking differentials. Sure will be helpful this winter when every gate becomes a muddy feedlot.

I plan on a double seat platform with swivel seats and swivel rests, a la Tony Tebbe's rig. This weekend, I'm gonna have to settle for camo lawn chairs and bipods, but I ain't gonna complain.

Looks great Wesley! Major improvement to her.

I'd check out the GoLight to mount on top. Would come in handy when scanning fields.

I thought about a GoLight, but every one I see around here is sitting unprotected on top of the truck cab looking like a big target for overhanging limbs. I've never seen any sort of cage or anything you can mount one in. Does such a thing exist?

I would be a little Leary of those Golights. Mine did not last long at all before it stripped the little plastic gears. Great idea so I bought another. Same thing and the second did not last as long as the first.

I found it on a UK website. Will look more tomorrow, when I get some free time.

Great stuff, Kiz. Love those H1's. I was privileged to get to drive two different loaners while working in Virginia years ago. Awesome vehicle. Thanks for sharing.
