pictures of my Nikon Laser IRT Range Finding 4-12x42 Rifle Scope on the stevens 200 .Havnt tried it out yet but i am going to the range today to see how it will go.

It would not only have to perform perform flawlessly, but it would also have to serve tea and make sandwiches, for me to but up with that much ugly!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
It's also waaay too high over the center of bore for my liking.

Most scopes on bolt rifles are 1.5" above the bore and AR's will be somewhat higher.

It looks like it will be the wave of the future in scope development. I like it, wish I had one on an AR.
 
Yer i didnt relise it would be so high but the base of the scope is flat and bolts up very square and true to the bore.It has a nice backlight display for the range numbers and has the bdc recticle and not the nikoplex .The main thing i want to see if it holds up to the recoil of the 270 and holds a good zero.
 
I tried one out just like yours at the local range on a 30-06. The optics were nice, but I didn't care as much for the heavy BDC reticle. It should work fine for large preditors and big game I think, but the small varmints could be a bit harder to get a precise aimming point. It is a bit of a beast for a 4-12, but not unmanageable overall.
 
I like it also. I think this is the first post I've seen on one. I know Burris and Bushnell also have them. I hope it works well for ya.
 
I paid about 500 for it and told the wife i sold one of my old scopes and bought this one lol.I wanted a rangefinder so i ended up buying this,also havnt seen any other posts either so i thought id throw a few pictures in.Seen a review on chuckhawks and another site but had no pictures, anyway im off to the range now.

tried some remington ammo and some federal and was holding groups very good .I just have to take it out to long range now.
