I have had this crossman g1 extreme for two years now. I for the life of me can't get this thing to shoot groups I tried the scope that came with it and another one made for air guns. Today was the last straw after 15 mins of crappy shooting I tore the scope off and vowed to sell or cuts into small pieces and sprinkle the chunks out in the woods, this gun is a piece of sh$t. My old daisy 840 that I have had for over 20 years that is now my daughters will out shoot that hunk of junk all day. There i feel better now that I have vented

I was having an issue with my RWS Model 34 keeping Zero and I was telling a friend the problems that I was having, which was I would sight it in and within maybe 5 to 10 shots it would move an inch or more. He said it was eithe Scope or mount issues and I changed mounts and can't be happier now. I have shot about 400 pellets through it and it hasn't changed abit.

Also in the past I had been buying Air Rifle rated scopes and my Rifle ate them like Candy. I finally went with a Leupold and haven't had a Scope issue since.

I had the same prob with my 34.

The factory scope was an absolute piece of crap.

I put an old denver weaver on it and have not had a prob since.

Airgun/rimfire rated scopes by Weaver are quite good. I have used them on guns that were considered scope killers.
Springer airguns are tough on scopes and mounts. Even good mounts often need a stop(pin or bolt) and do well with locktite on the threads to keep them in place.
Then comes consistency in seating the pellets, and lastly the hold used when aiming the gun.

Believe it or not, I have a Bushnell Sportsman 4x32 on my Beeman R1 in 20 cal. It has been on there for about 17 years. It has caused the demise of many rats and pigeons. I have not had any issues with it.

Pellet guns are brutal on scopes. Most of my experience with accuracy problems and pellet guns come from either a bad scope/mount/mounting or cheap pellets
