Pig saddle vs reaper grip for tripod

I have read posts on here comparing the 2, but nothing that really gave advantages of one over the other. I’m curious to see how they compare in terms of stability, and how well they fit your rifle? Is the added cost of the reaper justified over the pig saddle? Thanks

For me it was the curvature of the Reaper. It is curved and can fit nicely around rounded hand guards whereas the pig saddle is flat on all sides which could allow some wobble.

I have no regrets going with the Reaper, but I think that a shooter could learn to use either one equally well.
