I got a guy comin tues, so I wanted to "knock the dust out".
I shot these pigeons after work today, 100 to 350 yards. Shot some solids just for fun.

I have shot several pigeons with a 222.
I am suprised you had enough left over to photograph

oh yea

NICE SHOOTING!!!! pigeons are just rats with wings

Pigeons are fun targets. We don't have many here in my neck-of-the-woods, but I've shot them in other places years ago.

Nice going, and quite a distance on some.

I hate them!!!! Even worse, is that I came back to the yard tonite, and there are a dozen in the feedlot.
I have a neighbor that raises them, and turns them loose, they all come to my outfit, so I HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM !

I hear ya, I hate flying rats. I DRT at least a couple a day from my apartment balcony.I got 7 wednesday, none today it was windy and they were hunkered down.

Absolutely hate these flying rats. I use one of the high precision airguns to deal with them. Killed hundreds...More than often I can use this in places where the use of firearms of any types is prohibited. Out to 100 meters it shows no mercy...and it's quiet.

Thanks. This one is .177 Weihrauch HW100T (Germany). Regulated.
3000 psi. 50 super consistent shots off a single fill.
Best pellet is 10.6 grain H&N Baracuda running at 22 FPE @ muzzle. Pigeons only need 3-4 FPE on the impact to die.
