Polygonal 3 groove rifling-YOUR opinions

Looking for honest opinions from you guys that have shot/own rifles with barrels using the 3 groove polygonal rifling.

To be even more specific, the barrels made by Black Hole in .556/.223...

I'd like to hear the goods, bads, uglies of the barrels.

Thanks.

(I posted this in the AR forum too. Just didn't know where it might be better noticed)

Doggin, I dont have a .556 but I did get in on the group by on the 6X45. My barrel shot almost all my loads within 1.5 inch and the load I ended up with was consistantly in about 3/4 inch. I stoped working on it there as that is perfectly adequate for what I am doing with this gun. I really think the barrel is much more capable than I am. I have shot probably around 450 rounds and have seen no change in accuracy. So far I am quite pleased with the results.

Hey doggin my buddy ol' pal, I don't have the 5.56, I got the 6x45 as above. So far I love this tube, It is way more accurate than me even on my best day and it cleans up slicker than owl poop. If your having some reservations about them, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

I was hoping somebody had some experience with one of the barrels in .556. But if not, oh well.

You guys with the 6x45's. Those are stainless barrels? Best I can tell all Black Hole barrels are stainless? Yes or no?

I don't know about all of them being stainless, but mine is. Bottom rifle.

Yes they're all stainless.

I just ordered a .243 lbc barrel last week. I went for 20", rifle length gas, target crown in black.

Now for the wait...

I'm considering one of their overstock .264 lbc 16" barrels. For $205 it's a screaming deal even if the configuration wouldn't be my first choice.
