What is the consent about this type of rifling. I'm looking to buy a 308 black hole weaponry barrel. I'm looking for a accurate barrel, the rifle will be use for long range shooting. Any other recommendation?

Regards

Lou

My BHW 223 barrel will shoot under MOA very consistently usually under 1/2 MOA...This is the only BHW barrel I have tried...Jason

My 6x45 P3, 20" AR15 barrel shot everything I hand loaded under 1" and closer to .600" at 100 yds.
I now have a 6x6.8, 22" P3 AR15 barrel and am still working on loads out of it. I have got as small as .347" with it so far and as big as 2.5" testing new bullet/powder/seating depth/primer combinations. I would hit up the BHW forums and read on your specific caliber.
There are no guarantees it will shoot though, could be hit & miss.

They are easy as heck to clean, fouling in just about nil so far in this new bbl.
Speed may be faster as well due to the P grooves.

I currently have a 260 rem BHW barrel that looks like it will be very accurate, it's a 20" standard contour. Still perfecting a load. But I got 2 308 barrels they made for Rainier that weren't very good, one was absolutely terrible. However, I don't think BHW finishes them for Rainier, so who knows what went wrong and where. I can also say that both BHW and Rainier stand behind them very well if you were to get a dud. They do clean ridiculously easily.
