I hunt an 1100 acre property in the center of Frisco, Texas. There are a lot of apartments, housing, businesses, and major roads all around that area. I'm sure the sounds of the e-caller and my shotgun can be heard for a pretty good distance. I normally call the Frisco police department and inform them that I will be out on that property before going. I've discussed this with them and they are aware that they may be getting a few calls for strange sounds and gun shots. They informed me that an officer may show up in the area but once he knows exactly where the shots were fired then he will probably just leave. It is legal to hunt there and they won't stop me by their own admission. I just take the precautions before hand and so far it has worked out fine for me.
