Curious about todays real world range for PDs. I've hunted them in KS,TX and WY and hear of shootable populations in several other States.

What other States have you killed PDs in the last five(5) years?

A couple of us FL boys want to follow our successful KS 2006 and WY 2008 PD hunts with another trip in '09. We enjoyed KS & WY and would hunt both states again but are not adverse to exploring other locations.

Obviously, we're a long way from the PD areas many of you are most familiar with but do hear of increasing poisoning and protectionist efforts.

Be happy to reciprocate on FL varmints but the only rats we have live in Orlando ..and Mickey is known as MR. Mouse to most locals.

They're thick as fleas in UT. But they put up signs about "Black-Footed Ferret Restoration Area. No Trespassing."

KS and CO work pretty well for me. Haven't shot them anywhere else, didn't need to cause you can't beat the accomodations.

The plague got most of them in the Newcastle and Lance Creek area.

We wasted 2 days there and left for greener(browner?) pastures.

Lots of not running brand new oil well pumps too. I can only guess why they're not running.

I put on a free hunt threw graybeard outdoor on the NEF forum in the panhandle of oklahoma.I allow 25 shooter as that is plenty to handle for me.I think they all had a good time and shot plenty of dogs

Thanks gents. Was probably just wishful thinking on my part that possibly PD's had migrated East of the Mississippi and S/O the Mason-Dixon line and that it was a well kept secret.

Guess us FL boys will just have to keep saving our change for next years gas money.
