Precision Rimfires

Is anyone into Precision rimfires? I have some CZ's I enjoy shooting but wondered if anyone has messed with a Rimx or others.

Precision rimfires is a hot ticket these days. But...it isn't a cheap sport if you want to be competitive. Accurate Shooter has a rimfire section and lots of good info there. Just Google search and you should be able to find all the information you need.

My rimfire is just Mildly Modified. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

But it isn’t what I would consider a ā€œPrecision rimfireā€ by any stretch.

I've been kinda into them for quite awhile, not for competition, just general plinking.

I bought this 40-X back in the 80's, manufactured in 1973.

I also bought a ultra rare Remington 40-XR repeater back in that same time frame. They only made around 700 of them. I ended up selling it, as values were going sky high, & I was afraid to take it out of the safe. I've got pics somewhere of it.

Also had a Remington 541-S once upon a time, but sold it too.

Sold my 1973 40-X barreled action, that was in the McMillan orange stock, & picked up a Vudoo barreled action to stick it in.

Didn't keep that one very long, as it had a match chamber, & I didn't want to feed it the good stuff, so down the road it went.

I replaced it with a Bergara BMR, great gun.

Liked the Bergara so well, I bought a Bergara B14R barreled action, & stuck it in a Manners EH1. Love this one.

Don't know if my tikka t1x qualifies. I added a vertical grip, salmon river combo rail and a kydex adjustable cheek rest. It's very accurate with almost anything I feed it. My favorite are cci subsonics. It's a gopher killing machine out to a 100 yards.

I shot small bore in HS , my math teacher was the ROTC small bore coach at Marquette University and would take me on the weekends to shoot, fun time

When I was stationed in Taiwan I shot competitively with the Chinese army. Some days the national team was shooting at the same time and I was invited to shoot some of their International Free Rifles and Pistols. Talk about a heady experience.

Right now I have Savage HB thumb hole stocked 22 lr that shoots great. I have 4-16 target dot scope on it that I use to practice shooting off sticks, also a CZ-455 HB 22 lr that I like to shoot also. Most of the time the CZ wears a HB 22 WMR barrel for hunting.

Just a ruger "precision " rimfire 17hmr i pick up here. Don't know that i would truly call it precision as much as tacticool maybe?
