Most show up within a min or two of the pup distress playing, alot are within seconds. If I get a vocal response on the howling, you could almost bet your bottom dollar that they are going to come screaming in, when the distress starts. Of course, I'm talking strategy for this time of year. This is what has been working for me from Jan till now, as I am targetting territorial and paternal coyotes. My strategy is different in the fall. Not alot different, but different. It's as simple as figuring out what works during that time period and sticking with it.
