Predator Gear

Man I would love one of those scopes the snipers use in the movies, on the side of the crosshair you see red LED lights flashing and the crosshair centres itself, man now I would love a model like that /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Its amazing in the movies the guys get amazing stuff! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif

More versatile camoflage clothing (most is too dark, IMO) and a gillie suit with a little shorter material.

I would like to find a good vest designed for varmint hunting. I am using turkey vests now and the pockets are the wrong shapes and sizes.

Bolt-Action Rifles built specifically for coyote hunting with standard/sporter weight barrels, flush-fit detachable magazines. Examples would be the new Savage Classic in .17 rem, 222, 223, 204, 22-250, 220 swift, .243 and wildcats with detachable mag. Remington vs fs with calibers mentioned above with detachable magazine. CZ would be perfection with the addition of a flush fit magazine in the American version. Vest, Fanny pack, or back pack to accomodate predator hunting gear in snow camo or plain white to accomodate hunters in the north.
Scopes need to be light in weight without an AO, in a 2.8 X 12 or 14 power range with a 40-44 objective lens and a illuminated fine or duplex crosshairs. Simmons is close with the Aetec master series. I would love to see Nikon build something like this in a monarch UCC around 14 Oz.
Bullet makers need to give us small caliber bullets that will accomplish entering the animal and dispersing all energy within the animal at predetermined velocities.

I will continue to modify this as I have more time.

My BIGGEST complaint! I HATE mags that stick down out of the rifle. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif

I'd like to see an Over/Under gun designed for predator hunting. Like 10 guage and 22-250. Also, a facemask that actually works well for hand callers.

A good calling glove that leaves the palm of the hand bare but camoes the rest and gives some warmth. Also available in white, of course. (And not in some miserable useless second skin-type material, or goretex, or other cold, uncomfortable and noisy fabric, but something proven, like wool.)

Shooting sticks or bipods that sets down quietly on crusty snow...

I have a tikka 595 and love it "old version of the t3" discontinued in 2003. Unfortunately tikka does not include many of the cartridges listed above in a standard weight version "t3 hunter" they do include many of the calibers listed above in the varmint weight heavy barrel version. Most manufacturer's put the small calibers including .243 varmint configurations. Tikka's grey wolf in a grey laminate stock with stainless action and barrel in the calibers listed above with sporter weight barrel would be perfect.

If they could design a bi pod that is always at the right height or by design could extend or shorten ever so slightly by the touch of a button as a predator approaches. I know I'm dreaming.

Avery makes a waterfowl calling glove out of fleece which might work for you, give it a look, they are actually quite warm

I found that calling glove at Cabelas, think I will give it a try. Didn't see it in white, but I think I can put it to good use anyway. Thanks!
