Predator Hunting from a deer blind?

Have any of y'all ever used a deer blind to hunt predators out of? I was thinking I'd put my e-caller underneath while sitting in it. Just an idea.

I've been thinking of the same thing. I have a 15 foot ladder stand for deer hunting and my dad has been seeing coyotes around there lately. May have to do some experimenting.

I've done it plenty of times, and it works just fine. In fact, it works great if you don't have much cover to hide in and those elevated tower blinds will give you a good vantage point to see those animals coming in.

Good luck!

Hey Texas 4x4

I hunt down here in south east Texas and every thing is flat and the woods are thick. The only way to get an elevated position is to get in a deer blind or a tree climber. Here is some advice about deer blinds, stay ready, have a short barrelled gun because there are blind spots in those deer blinds it can make it hard to see. Don't hit the side of the wall when preparing to shoot. Coyotes will come from where ever it is that you least exspect them to and they don't stand still very often. Those are my tips for what ever it may be worth. p.s. tree climbers offer a good 180 undissturbed view and you don't have to worry about hitting something with your barrell.

One of the last yotes I shot was from a blind in Laredo, he was eating corn!! But I did not call him in, it was just his unlucky day...
