Predator Tactics "Nightmare" light-Any feedback?

My first post, been trolling the site for a while but I just recently purchased the predator tactics night raid to complement my wicked scan pro. The predator tactics light is just as good as the wicked lights that I have had in the past. I would recommend them. I would say they are both pretty much equal.

Thanks for the reply. I also have a wicked light 403, and was curious how they would compare....sounds like they are equal......I dont really need another light, but if it was better than the 403 I would pull the trigger on one....doesnt sound like its better...sounds like they are the same....thanks for the info, brother!

They are better than the wicked for sure. I have the reaper and it blows away the wicked. We did side by sides and there is no comparison. As far as the nightmare I'm not sure but I will know soon lol

How would you define, "blows away the wicked?"
Just brighter beam, tighter beam? What do you feel is better about it?
I ask because Im looking at buying one.
Thanks

I am looking at their "Nightmare" light and was curious how their lights perform. What's going on Josh, anything I can help you with? Comparison: Wicked lights are good, 403ic works good, the adjustable end butt cap...may have a few problems, at least for me it did on a couple of occasions. but the warranty will take care of that. The "Nightmare", lighter, brighter, clearer!!! Battery life seems to be twice that of the wicked. Plus has a memory at every intensity, and has 4 different colors all in one light. Red, white, green, blue. Also comes with a removable shade for higher intensity if needed. And with a simple quick quiet button. Absolutely great kill light! Example: you've heard me complain about losing dogs. Using red for example, let one fly and immediately change the color to white to see more clearly where the dog is. That's a huge bonus on locating downed animals. PM me if you have any other questions. JUST CLICK BELOW, right to our website.....Regards, Drop

I'm just curious how the battery life can be twice as long. Looking at Crees or any other LED manufacturer's specs to get more light you need more amps, more amps mean less battery life. Being a field staff member I was wondering if you could share some light on that?

^^^^^Completely understand. As I stated! Never said it's "twice" as long. Said it "seems" to have a longer battery life under constant use. We compared the wicked 403ic and the "Reaper", along with the "Nightmare" all with fully charged 18650 batteries. The wicked began to lose its effect after just about an hour. Predator Tactics lasted longer. Even though all had the exact same battery. Both are great lights. That's just the results of our personal tests. Now, to go one step further, the coyote CL1 lasted the longest. But does take a different battery set-up. Regards, Drop

The coyote light uses Lithium Ion Batteries which are pretty much the industry standard, how is that different?

The coyote light uses Lithium Ion Batteries which are pretty much the industry standard, how is that different? CL1 takes a 26650, 3.7 volt battery. not a 18650.

I'd expect the CL1 to run longer with a higher mAh 26650 battery. So comparing the CL1 to any 18650 light is apples to oranges. I found 5200 mAh to be about the highest 26650 vs 3600 mAh for an 18650. (unless you want cheap rewrapped ultrafires) Running longer has nothing to do with the light, it's all about battery capacity. You could add a sleeve or wrap tape around an 18650 and run it in the CL1.

^^^^OK? lets agree to disagree. Battery life is something most purchasers would like to know. Regards, Drop

I'm not sure where we disagree, and your right most would like to know how long it will last but I still don't know based on your answers.

First you said it was twice the Wicked

Then you said you didn't say that but compared it to another light that takes a completely different battery

I realize your just trying to sell lights but making outlandish unsubstantiated claims and then denying saying it might leave the consumer wondering.

After reading your post again are you saying the removable shade makes the light brighter that I don't agree with and is just BS.

Not sure why you are attempting me into a debate over a simple light. We did our comparisons...and results are results....if you read my replies, you would know this. But I do thank you for being interested in our product. Thank you for your complete and positive input. Truly appreciate it. Regards, Drop

If I posted in the reloading section I stuffed a 6mm bullet in a .17 case and loaded it with more powder than a case could hold some one would question me.

You claimed the light was brighter, battery life was twice a competitors and adding a halo shield makes it brighter, I know that's not possible.

In sales you can lie by omission and no one is the wiser, but when you state untrue, exaggerated or impossible facts about a product be prepared to be questioned.

What is "clearer" I keep seeing lighter brighter clearer or is it cleaner like in the other guys post either way what makes that beam clearer or cleaner?
