Primos Alpha Dogg Video Review

Hello all. Thought I'd drop my review of the Primos Alpha Dogg. This is the 2nd one I've owned. This is not a field review, but should familiarize you with the call enough to make your own decision. I believe it's the best call on the market for the $$. I hope some find this useful.

Very nice review. I looked at the primos call before buying another foxpro(went with the hellfire.)
Do not care for the remote at all but the calls do sound good and are clear.)

I'm definitely going to look into the alpha dog for a backup.

Rogers sporting goods has these for $200 with free shipping, had them at $160/$170 recently too. They also have the boss dog $600-$700 call for $360.

It isn't a bad place to look if a guy is interested in these. Store became big with waterfowlers, they were about the only store not advertising decoys at max retail price there for a bit, not quite what it used to be though.

That was the first call I bought. Worked great as long as I kept the batteries fresh. I bought a Shockwave and while that is now my main caller I still use the Alpha Dogg part of the season. It still brings in the coyotes.

this is also the first e-call for me, the batteries did go really fast until we started using the
Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries

I had / have one, but after a year or so, the mute appeared to get stuck. No sound from the caller. I called customer service and they tried to get me going, they thought the remote had lost communication with the caller. But after doing all of the steps to re establish connection it never would work. I'm sure its something with the mute. I was told it was out of warranty and wound be charged to get it looked at, so I bought a fox pro. I would love to get it working as a back up, and it did go through batteries quickly.
