Primos Boss Dogg

How so? Looks like FP copied the alpha dogg. How would FP be better with very or no info out about the boss dogg?

All callers today are pretty much the same and reliable. But 3 50 watt amps in that boss dogg will be a screemer along with a 230 yrd remote decoy also and at 459$ about. It is going to fly off the shelves for sure.

IMO if it doesn't have all the features: foxbang, foxpitch, etc. it aint as good, those features take the cake but as you say we know little about the boss dogg. maybe they'll shed some more light on it in the coming months. like I said just my opinion

Ain't bad mouthin' the Foxpro's,..got a spitfire and a firestorm myself,.going on my 3rd season with the Alpha Dogg,..and after a mid season start with it the first year,..haven't used the Foxpro's since. Remote range, display, sound quality along with the "expert" hunts have done awsome for me (battery life is excellent also) my money is on the Boss Dogg doing very well,..won't hesitate for a second adding one to my collection once funds allow!

I used an Alpha Dog fir the first time last weekend and that thing was the cat's a**, at least for howls. Well, I did call in a double that started with about 15 minutes of off-and-on variations of "Calf in Distress" before switching to vocalizations.

May only complaint was the the low volumes at which howls would crack at. Some would crack at Volume 41, others at 49 and one made it to volume 51 before it began to distort. The batteries in the base unit and remote were fresh batteries, but not lithium ion, so...? The remote did start to go a little spastic during our last stand, but I think fresh batteries would've cured the situation, but our day was done.

The only reason I would consider purchasing a FoxPro would be because I wanted to support an American manufacturer(/assembler?). I am only hesitant to "Go FoxPro" because my students make some pretty slick hand calls, I've never hunted with one or heard one, and I just don't have the coin for one. I want to hunt over one soon so I can hear the quality of the howls.

These will fix your problems,..been using em all season and can't believe the difference they've made. Most the howls that are pre programmed for the expert hunts start out at level 75 on the volume level and they're crystal clear for me.

eneloop batteries

If thats a IF... Primos callers call more in who needs Foxbang. I haven't seen the big caller in action but the 25 watt TurboDogg is a screamer also. And has great features. And is bringing in Eastern coyotes. It is all what a hunter wants I would guess.

I have the alpha dogg and so far love it called one in few weeks ago at night . And the volume is what got me to by it had the power dog and liked it . but it wasn't loud enough then I seen the alpha dogg and looked at fox pro but it was the volume is what sold me at the time . And to get what I got would have to drop a lot on a caller

I have the alpha dogg and the fox pro shock wave... And ever since I got my shockwave... The alpha dogg stays in the garage.. Shockwave is an awesome all around call. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

I have had both the Alpha Dogg and Shockwave. The Shockwave wins hands down in almost every category. The Alpha Dogg is certainly a great caller and I would have no problem hunting over one again, but it just isn't quite in the same league as the Shockwave in my opinion. It may have had a slight edge on volume, which is nice. The price tag on the Alpha Dogg also makes it pretty attractive, as well. I personally liked the extra features on the Shockwave.

240$ compared to 600$. The boss dogg is going to be priced around 450$. Imagine what primos could build for a price tag of non MSRP for 600$!

Features and great service don't call coyotes. From my experience both call coyotes about the same. I know the Turbo Dogg is doing a fine job here in the East with many same sounds as the Boss Dogg. At $149 on sale a 25 watt speaker and a large easy to use remote, and great sounds, can hold 200, it is hard to beat, and I would rate it above the low end FoxPros, the lack of volume is bad on windy nights. The Wildfire is a Spifire with a little better remote, Foxbang, which is no big deal, but the same low volume speaker. Now the Boss Dogg and the Helfire could be a good challange. Then you have the WT echo, great sounds, long range remote and everything included, even the rechargeable batteries, and decent volume for the East, would not reccomend any of the low end calls for out West except the TD with the 25 watt amp it should make the grade. Then the new JS call for $149 on sale, great sounds good build, and calls coyotes. Alot of choices out there. i would take the Boss Dogg in the East with the better sounds, and expert hunts. In the West I see homemade calls call coyotes. Would be nice if any of these companies made a coyote hunting movie in Oh. PA. or WV. And NY. where you do not call in a coyote every stand. The best videos in the East is done by using a hand call. The long range remote at 200+ yards with the remote decoy makes the Boss the Boss.

I think some are talking about a different Primos Ecaller..
The Boss Dogg is completely new. Not even on the shelves yet. Look at this BEAST

Also check out their website. 50 watt X 3 6 inch speakers!!! NEW BOSS DOGG

Let's not get this confused with the 240$ resemblance of the alpha dogg that has 3 speakers but only has dual 25 watt amps.

Also both callers comes with at no charge realtree camo. For the money, IMO,Primos is going to be the new leader.
