Primos or Quaker Boy???

Well out of the two you mentioned quaker boy is the best imo but if you really want the best go with hs strut calls, they are awesome and look great too!

Borntohunt.. If those are your only two choices and hunting is heavy in your area. Go to a local sporting goods store and find out which one is the best seller. If the birds have heard one or the other quite a bit are probably wise to it. I use Knight and Hale's Old Yeller Slate type call and a Haydel's box call. The last turkey I called in almost ran us over trying to get to the pretty hen. As long as you learn to use the call real good any one of them are probably just as good as the next. Once season has been in swing for a while it is best to switch up. The birds get leary of the calls and start to act like a call shy coyote....James L.

I like the Quaker Boy call. I use the Old Boss Hen double reed diapham and the Magic Touch slate. I just bought some Primos diaphrams, but I don't like them as good. This makes several of theirs that I have had and just don't like them. The H.S Strut are good too but seem to be harder to find in my area. I like double read diaphrams over 2.5,3.3.5 etc. The H.S. Split V II is really hard to find. James- I saw a hen on the side of the road in your neighborhood Tuesday. If I don't have luck in Angelina or Jasper county I may end up over there later next week.

I don't like either. We shot 4 today on my place and three were lured in by slate calls. the other by an exellent imitation by the hunter himself just clucking.
