Primos Trigger Sticks?

I use and like the taller version with two legs. I hunt some pretty brushy country, and many of my stands are made from a high seated position (dove bucket) or standing. The quickly and easily adjusted Trigger Sticks are just perfect for my kind of calling. I took some steel wool and FDE paint to the shiny black legs though.

Niether!!! Primos trigger sticks are junk with a capital J!!!! They slip down and will move when you are trying to shoot. Buy the Butler Creek one, it works and stays set where you want it. the feature that lets the trigger stick move down when you pull the "trigger" is really an unnecessary novelty that seems like a neat feature but you will get sick of it quick, plus that thing is heavy compared to others.

I never had my trigger sticks slip or move at the wrong time... I think they are AWESOME... if they did... I'd simply adjust the trigger wire. The two legged version allows you to pan the rifle in every direction without taking the rifle off the sticks... or having to move the sticks left or right if the critter is moving. Pulling the trigger is way more fluid than trying to move a pair of legs left or right... and then getting back on target.

Concurrent Primos Trigger Stick Thread

We're already talking about these Trigger Sticks over in the predator hunting section. Might check out that thread.

I love them, consider them a critical piece of my hunting kit, and I prefer them over the many other models/brands I have used in the past. I have all 3, the mono, bipod, and shocks tripod, all talls, and my bro-in-law has the short monopod.

I have the bi pod set for sitting down. I made a set of extension legs out of 3/4 pvc plumbing pipe for using them in my ladder stands for deer season. I had to take a small sanding drum and open up the inside of the pvc just a touch for the legs to slip in. You will have to take of the rubber feet of the bipod to do this

I love the bipod. Have had them for years and never a problem with them slipping either. With the size of my hunting chair or when standing, they work great.

Next year I'll probably do more standing stands, so might look at the tripod for the added stability.

I have the short mono, the tall mono and the short bi, for sitting on the ground I use the short bi, the bi pod just gives me some extra stability with a rifle. I don't know about the tri pods if they would catch on things to much if you had to change your position. I would like to make a little holster for mine so I could just drop it in and take it out easy.

I have a tall tri-pod style one and a short bi-pod for sitting stands. I love um. I use the tall ones all the time walking around shooting ground squirrels and rabbits.

I also have 3 pair I like the sitting bipod height the most. But I sit flat on the ground most the time. I have new ever had a slip or movement with any of my sticks. They work flawless someone must just have gotten a bad set?
