Pro Ears or Walkers Game Ear

No experience w/Pro Ears, but have (and use) Walker Game Ear Quad muffs and am very happy with them. Having four mikes helps somewhat in making them directional.

Only problem I have had is in adjusting volume on the e.caller. Found best to pick a call that has a steady volume, set volume w/o the muffs, then put muffs on and adjust muff volume to sound same as w/o the muffs. From that initial setup, can change calls and set volume correctly w/muffs on.

+1 hm1996. I have the Walker Digital Quad muffs and I love them. Digital much better than analog ones. I use same method for setting the volume. If you're just wanting to enhance the sounds, you can turn them up enough so that you can almost hear yourself think. Hmmmm, that's a scary thought.

Save your money and build that extra room for me (you know , the one with the large flat screen and my own stocked fridge). No, Im not talking about the trailer either.

I have played with the Walker quad muffs, but haven't hunted with them. Havent tried the others. As is I already hear my face mask rubbing on the collar of my shirt and think there is stuff behind me.

HM and LD, thanks for that tip with the volume. Now we know why crapshoot has not hunted with them, something to do with that "hear yourself think" part...

Crapshoot, your room is ready, just waiting for the Big BROWN Truck to bring your TV. I am having a hard time with the fridge, for some reason I cant keep it stocked!!!??? I bet with those game ears on, you probally do hear thing and want to turn.
