Hi, We have dealt with the squirrel thing too. Starlings are the next fun thing. Wild bird seed is very attractive to squirrels. if you are around alot just make a small pile(cup)on the ground and replenish regularly until you can ambush them. Or by hanging a small bird feeder by wire from tree or post just barely within a squirrels reach they will spend alot of time balancing and reaching for the seed. Just ask anyone with a bird feeder in your area. But don't tell em why. Pellet gun is very effective. Good Luck
