Anybody have or seen this bow yet? I really like it... I have always been a Mathews boy but now I am starting to like the PSE line of bows. What do you guys think of the Evo?

Yes and I want one, I own the 09 dream season and I want the Evo now, really smooth draw. My buddy owns the new Evo bow and he is pulling 63 pound and still get 310fps

Im going to go shoot one here later this week and check out the Technohunt! Hope I dont like the bow to much

Unless you have the money don't shoot one. I just got axe 6 x force in june and I want the evo already. Im blown away by how great they shoot

A guy over at archerytalk.com started a thread on his new 2011 evo.He said his hunting set up with 28 draw at 70 lbs is shooting 310 foot per second and smooth as silk.I think it is the best bow for 2011

I don't remember the weight of the arrow. It was fast for the set up.X force might be faster, not for sure.I don't know if a x force is as smooth,I have not shot a x force.I have only shot 3 of the 2011 line up.The mathews extreme, hoyt crx 32,pse evo.I liked the evo and hoyt alot better.Go to archerytalk.com anything you want to know aabout bows or archery

Dislike the PSE grip.

Short brace might be fine for targets or warm weather hunting, but come late season I bet a lot of guys will get some coat sleeve slap.

Seems like a neat bow, but I don't care for the grip.

FWIW I had a Torqueless on my Mathews SB XT and that was OK, but my fave grip was the one my Hoyt Protec Safari came with.

That and the standard Blackwidow grip (shot with different hand position).

last summer when i decided to get new bow i was trying to decided if i wanted speed or smoother accuracy, because generally the shorter to brace height the more you give up smoothness and forgiveness. BUT i shot the axe 7 and the axe 6 along with other longer brace height bows and found that the new x-forces are so well made that it really didn't matter, the 7 and 6 shot just as smooth to me...so i went with the axe 6 because it was faster...now that i have shoot the 2001 axe 6 and the 2011 evo...im even more blow away...they are so beyond smooth and fast its crazy....they are by far smoother than my older single cam bow that had like 7.5 brace height on it.

As far as grips...that shouldn't really have any bearing on a bow since you really shouldn't be gripping the bow anyway...it should sit in your had with no affect from your fingers or grip
