I tried it in my .308 many years back and it wouldn't shoot any kind of decent group.
I'm talking shotgun-looking groups, 10 or 12 inches at 200 yards.
I'm sure it was coincidence, but I kept about 10 of them on the backer board, and not one was in the black. Like a donut group, all the way around with none up the middle.
