Has anyone had the opportunity to compare the following scopes against each other: Thermion XG50 and Thermion 2 XQ50 Pro? I know the newer pro has a sensor that’s supposed to cut through fog and humidity better but the XG has 640x480 resolution. I have used older 384 resolution thermal devices but I think they’ve all came a long ways since. These two are what appears to be the best value for my budget at this time. Thank you

I recently bought the XQ50 pro LRF, but before I did I went on line and did a search for a comparison of the two.
Do the same and you'll find some videos that compare the two side by side. Here's a link to one of the videos that I found.

Well I did the same as well and found comparisons between the models of the same generation also. But I was more referencing the difference between the XG original vs the XQ 2 Pro which I have not found. Thanks

I decided on the thermion 2 XQ50 pro lrf when I upgraded. It's much clear than my old 640 armasight. Really love it.

I can't compare them, but my 11 year old and my 14 year old dropped a double at 218 yards in a pretty heavy snow storm a week or so ago with the Thermion XG50s.

1...2...BOOM.......wop..wop. Gunshots sounded like one shot but the wops were a split second apart.

Dang thermals are addictive!
