You are right Old Cat.  I didn't mean to infer that 100yds was a limitation of the pvs14.  It was a limitation for me behind an eotech.  I just didn't feel comfortable shooting much further than that with that setup.  I am sure a pvs14 works well enough for longer shots behind a scope.  I tried that combination, but didn't like the way it worked.  If it works well for you then you have what you need.
