I have a Rock River Mid-length with a quad four rail. I normaly like shooting with my Harris swivel bipod but I am not sure what the best option is for attaching the bipod to the quad rail. Any suggestions?

+2 on LaRue!! Absolute rock soild "Texas Spec" lock up each and every time! Easy to use and built to last!

Stay away from the plastic models as they will stretch and poosibly break in colder weather. Ask me how I know...

Wow, thanks pwsamiam, that is a lot cheaper. How many of you guys actually use the quick detach feature like the Larue?

I sure do! All depends on my shooting position. And if you get to your set and find you can't go prone, or would like to use a different rest, or none at all... "CLICK" and the bipod is off and your gun is ready to go. No tools required.

I've got a shorty bipod on mine, it never comes off. It's a rail bipod, no swivel stud needed. If I'm shooting off of something else I just use the folded bipod as a rest across whatever I'm using.

The KZ adapter that Botach sells is actually a Yankee Hill product (YHM-638) and it is good quality and sells for $10 more from the manufacturer, so getting it from Botach is a no-brainer, but Botach sticks you on the shipping like $13.

$33 total cost ain't too bad.

Mine will stay on my AR permanently as I rarely have a need to remove the Harris bipod from any rifle, AR or bolt. The Harris bipods pop off quite quickly anyway. I don't care for shooting sticks much.

+1 on the yhm, its alot cheaper, i use it on my armalite AR-10T, been there with the larue and their throw levers, very nice and good equipement had a scope mount for my NF and QD bipod adapter, but eats up your picatinny after a while. got a KAC bipod adapter as well but they are just as pricey as the larue and the tightener is a flat head screw, i would prefer an alan or torx screw so you can tighten er up.
