Questions about 204 calibers uppers

I was about to pull the trigger on a new CZ 527 American in 204 when I came across the the Model 1 Sales, White Oak Armament and Precision Firearms 204 caliber uppers. I currently own a JP Enterprises AR15 which I can use with a new 204 upper.

Any opinions with the 204 uppers from Model 1 Sales or White Oak (Precision Firearms a bit to high in price)? Will they be as accurate as a CZ bolt? Are there any other manufactures of 204 uppers in the $700 or less price range?

Thanks for any info or suggestions.

I have used alot of White Oak Armament barrel's and they have all shot great. I have a Wilson Combat 18" 204 barrel on an AR and it shoot's good also.

White Oak would get my nod over the M1. That being said if I had to head shoot a PD at 350 I'd be grabbing either of my CZ 204's for the money shot and I have some great shooting 20 caliber ARs.

Ritch can get you close on a 204 upper if you go that route.

not for a .204 upper.

a decent barrel alone is half that cost alone. add in a mid-grade free float handguard, and a generic BCG and you're most of the way there already $ wise, and thats not including the upper itself and all the small parts to complete it.

you could barely assemble one yourself for $700 and you'd have to use generic mil-spec stuff for most of the upper to do it.

so yea... $700 for a .204 ruger upper, especially if its complete with a BCG and charging handle really is a decent price.

I have both the White Oak and the Model 1 in 204 The White oak has a 1 in 10 twist and will shoot the 32 and 40 grain bullets about the same. The Model 1 has a 1 in 12 twist and didn't like the heavier stuff but will shoot as well as the White Oak with the 32's. Will they shoot as well as my Rem XR100 in 204? No but they are close!!

Our price on a complete .204 upper starts at $581 (forged) and the most expensive version will run $670 (billet)

I've been researching AR's in 204 what brand of barrels are you using for that price?
