the 223 remington and the 300 blk both have the same saami max pressure spec 55,000 PSI. 


yes the 300 blk use less powder - because of the decreased case capacity due to being a cut down 223/5.56 case, as well as how much bullet may or may not extend into the body of the cartridge - but pressure is not solely about how much powder is in the case.  its also directly related to case fill %, type of powder used (burn rate), and several other factors.  some of these factors will correlate to the dB of suppressed fire, others will not.
