Well, now I know why I was getting pulled over outs in the 110’s. Those springs must’ve either been worn out or the 120 and 160s are way, way stronger. I know the spring and the little 120 took me a few tries on each side to get the safety latches on. After watching some videos on how to set the 160 on my hand, it still took me a few tries until I figure out the technique. I have to put my foot inside the trap while kneeling. Then I squeeze the spring together on one side and physically pull it up towards the sky till it’s pinched together and then put on the safety latch. Once I figured out the technique, it still took me a few seconds to get my mojo to get that 160 latched my hand. I’m sure if I do it a bunch of times I’ll get used to it. But both the 120 and the 160 springs are 1 billion times stronger than the 110s that I have. If I had more than one of each, I would end up going to buy a tool for setting or make one. I even watched a guy on YouTube use an Irwin frame squeezing tool which I have a few weighing around. I might even try that since it’s not something I will be resetting every day anyways since I only have one of each.
