RCA digital voice recorder

I have a question for some of you electronics experts. I noticed that when using my RCA digital voice recorder to play sounds through the Azden WLX-PRO, I really only have one volume--Well two volumes actually, either none or full BLAST. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif I find this full volume at about the #4 position on the DVR. Any setting lower than that, I have no sound. Turn it up past #4 and still same loud volume. Anyone else notice this problem when using the DVR?

Yep, me too. I only use it now for a back up unit. But I still keep and extra Walk Man player with me also. I got tired of messing with the non adjustable sound on the voice recorder.

Try an Attenuating patch cable to go between the DVR and the Transmitter. Radioshack has them.

an Attenuating Cable will knock the signal level down that is coming out of your DVR.

(How does it act when you have an earphone in that same DVR port ? )
