My charge master should be here today or tomorrow. Anything I need to know about it before I set it up? My crony should be here Thursday too but I proabally won't get to use it till next Thursday since I'm on my weekend to work.

Be prepared do more loading than you anticipated. I remember when I got mine it was like a revelation

It will make your life alot easier. I still check mine ever so often to the beam scale and have been impressed with the accuracy. I also took a dryer sheet and rubbed inside the powder tube to decrease the amount of static elctricity...just makes it easier to empty.

Another article

I dont know if it is in those articles but I have read to cut a piece of McDonalds drinking straw up in the tube that dispenses the powder. It is supposed to be more accurate. I have one (wife bought it for me for Christmas) but have yet to use it. I do not have the proper place to set it up yet.

+1 Its happen more than I would like to say...Jason

I plug mine in 15-20 minutes before I use it. I also took a plastic straw and cut to 1/2" and stuck in the powder dispenser tube. Gives me more consistant throws with certain powders.

Plastic Straw Tip

OH! Don't remove the black pan holder on top of your scale with power in the dispenser.

You will enjoy. I good investment!

I have mine elevated high enough to get the powder container under it that way when you are done reloading you can just put the container under the spout and open it up. Also make sure that the chargemaster is on a level surface and all the legs are touching.

Make sure you let it warm up. If I plan on doing any loading I will turn it on loooong before I load. Some people keep theirs on all the time.

+100000 on what 2MG said! Makes a big mess!

sometimes powder clumps up when its feeding it down the tube(varget does it on mine)the straw with the tips cut that way breaks the clump up and minimizes overcharges

Boy I'll say. One of those lessons you learn the hard way....a few times lol.

Make shure your puppy never has access to the chord. Yep, pulled it off the bench on top of her!

It's no use warning him about the drain, we will all do it once!

You're gonna love it!

I let mine warm up, calibrate it, then load away.

Watch out for power surges in the house such as when the AC kicks on as it can throw a load off.

Other than that, enjoy. One of the best investments I've ever made.

Sweet, it's here now. I'm gonna wait till tomorrow to play with it so it's my day off. Thanks for all the heads up and I'm sure I'll dump powder a time or two lol

Believe it or not, after a year and a half I have yet to leave the drain open and create such mess. Of course maybe it's beacuse I always close it after I'm done brushing it out and giving it a shot of canned air. Store a dryer sheet in the hopper and no problems. My day is coming!
