I don't know guys, I've been scamed by so many great sounding products, (scentlock for instance), I'm leary of it. Think I'll wait for some of your opinions. kyray.

I would have to agree with Kyray with the scentlok. I bought the scentlok last year and am very disaspointed with it. First of all scentlok does not breath well and i always end up with moisture in my coat. Second i still get winded by deer and coyotes. I guess the best thing to do is hunt with the wind in the right direction and just minimize your scent the best you can.

Tony, In my opinion, Scentloc, Scentblocker, ect., is a waste of money. I've owned them all and did everything they tell you to do, but deer and bear and predators will still smell you, no matter how clean you are or how much scentblocker you have on. It just flat doesen't work the way they claim. Do a search on Scentblock on this forum and you will see what I mean. kyray.

Well I know what is not good for eyesight improvement. hehe If you don't know what I am talking about let me know and I will show you the pictures. Randy

Let me take a guess Randy, a poke in the eye with a sharp stick? Sorry, I just had too. I hope everything is going well for you! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The list of indgredients sure is a long one.

Sounds like a witches brew!!

What about long term effects. The cost of it and whether it works or not could be secondary!!

Damaging internals or the such (not saying that it does) could prove disasterous!!

One mirical for sure, their bank account is growing!!

There seem to be a few products out there that are based on the European blueberry (bilberry). "Modern interest in bilberry arose after the Second World War. During night bombing missions, British Royal Air Force pilots reportedly experienced an improvement in night vision after eating bilberry jam. In the mid 1960s, reference to these observations eventually led to the first laboratory and later clinical studies on the effects of bilberry fruit extracts on the eyes and vascular system."

I'm not sure howmuch it can improve eye sight. However I recently had Laser Eye Surgery and it's been 2 weeks and I'm seeing better than 20/20. Last week I saw 20/15 and they said I may reach 20/10 one month after. It was expensive but well worth it for anyone 20-35 yrs old after that you may need reading glasses anyway.

have been taking the pills i got at the health store for a while now and i don't think it has done a thing to my vision. however i know i see better at night. with my age pushing up to the 50 mark i was really ready to stop driving at night i was close to blind while driving and now it seems to be a lot better, now i need to get out at night with the rifle and put it to the real test.

If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
This stuff is a lot of bunk. If the lenses and the retina are in good shape and you are healthy, and if you don't have a vitimin deficiency this crap will not do anything for you. It can't cure cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, dyslexia, myopia,
blepharitis, detached retinas and so on. Save your money guys. It's snake oil in a pill. The store shelves are full of crap. Including stuff to make you screw better and longer. The best thing you can take is good old fashioned Jack Daniels. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Well I haven't tried the pills, but...

This past weekend The Mrs. made a batch of blueberry pancakes.

I smashed up 2/3 cup full of fresh blueberries for the regular amount of batter. I ate 5 pancakes. The mix turned bluish in color.

During the rest of the day my sight was sharper. Any object I focused on was richer in color and distinct in shape. More so than usual.

While looking through the scope it made a difference. At least for me. By the next day it had worn off.

No, I'm not going out and buy the pills but I did have a change for the better during Saturday.

Good Hunt'n, God Bless.

Vitamins A, C, E, Bilberry extract, L-glutathione, N-Acetyl-L-cysteine, Lycium berry, Lutein and Zeaxanthin as well as a bioflavonoid blend of rutin, quercetin and a unique proprietary blend of gingko biloba, elderberry extract, and grape skin extract

Isn't that the formula for testosterone blocker? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
