RED T-7 TURRET RELOADING PRESS

I have one. I have been reloading for a couple of years with it. I like it. The obvious nice part of the turret is leaving your seating dies set so when you seat your 22-250 bullets, you don't have to re-set the seating die again. I leave my .223, 22-250, 30-06, and 300WSM seating dies in the turret and don't have to readjust them again. I hope that helps.

Why would you have to readjust your seating die again if you used a different press??

Great press. If you do not want to splurge or deal with the more complex progressive loaders, it is a good option.

In case they get turned or bumped when turning them out and turning them back in. Just trying to give a positive point on the T-7 turret for the guy is all.

I leave all my seating dies in the 2 turret heads that I have for my RCBS Turret press. No question if they moved when changing dies.

That's what I was getting at. I guess I don't have to worry about accidently bumping or changing anything with the turret-style presses. Have you had any experience with issues when changing turret heads between the two? I only have one turret head but thinking about getting another.

That's silly - with that approach, you need a new turret press for each new caliber you get - that really limits your caliber choices a LOT.

There is a ring on the die body - when you lock that ring, then yo can remove the die and put it back later, without anything changing.

Both of you guys need some instruction from a loader that knows what he is doing.

I'm new to this site and have met a lot of really nice people and enjoy reading the knowledge in their posts. You are not one of them. You are demeaning, belittling, and arrogant. Grow up. You are giving this website a bad name.

Then don't read my posts.

Click on my name above the "cat" and go to "View profile" - there is a tab that you can click "Ignore this user".

Click that and you will never see my posts again.

See how easy it is.

It was a knuckle buster when I tried to set up a die beside of one that was already there, or when I tried to remove a die for a simple cleaning.
I sold it, complete with a new turret head that had never been installed, and bought a Co-ax.
