Red vs Green lasers

The prices on the Green Lasers are really dropping & the green appear MUCH brighter.
Has anyone had any experience w/greens on predators at night?
I know red light doesn't spook them but I'm curious if the greens might alarm/alert them?

I have been wondering the same thing. I switched from red to green on my shotgun but I have not tested it on critters.

I think I will try it out just hand held the middle of next week. I cant hunt till Oct 1 but I can still go spotting and I wanted to try and see if it does spook critters. I kinda think it won't (hope). The green is visible as well in daylight as it is at night. Hope someone else chimes in with some real information.

I have no experience with green lasers, other than a friend of mine is an astronomy buff. With the green laser you can actually see the beam of light from the laser out for a long ways. He brings his on camping trips and uses it to point out stars, constellations, etc. With my red laser, the beam has to strike a surface for the dot to be seen. I'm thinking that with the beam visible from the gun out, you should be able to get on target faster. Just a hunch.

I have a green laser on my ar 15 for coyotes so far when iv been testing in the city just pointing it at coyotes that roam around but we cant shoot them, dam liberals but anyway doesnt seem to effect them at all but then again you can almost go up and touch them

Coyotes can see green, they can not see Red. What does that mean? Intense green light may make them haul A$$, it will take time to tell.

Ok of the 3 fox we have spotted so far this week after dark none responded to in anyway to the green laser. Even though unlike the red one you can see it as a line from the generator to the target. They may all have been youngsters who have not been shot at and three isn't a very large sample, so fare it does not seem to do any spooking.

ackleyman, from the information of a study on color vision in canines, they see green, yellow, red and orange in shades of yellow. I don't know (not being a canine just looking like one) how much difference each shade is.

Added, check the article on coyote vision in this PE online mag.

Went hog hunting Wednesday night & had 3 coyotes show up.
2 were around 400 yards off & I "painted" them w/green & red laser w/no effect from either laser until they got our scent & then were gone.
A single came in @ about 150 yards & same thing.
Didn't seem to bother them either way.

Just bought the new Laser Max Green laser, saw 1 hog laid it on him and he flinched backwards but then came back to the feeder. Laid it on him again and he ran off. So I am not sure if I should get a red one, can they see red lasers?

Cats can clearly see both red and green lasers. My dog doesn't seem to react to either, and all the foxes I've shot had a red laser in their face just before boom. Deer don't seem to react to a red or green laser right in the eye either.
I use a red laser as my prime aiming method on my shotgun hunting at night. The last fox I shot I decided to play around with and danced the laser around in front of him. He never noticed it just kept coming to the E caller.
