Has anyone tried this spring

One little thing that jumped out at me when I was reading the description:

"This is not just some reduced power spring kit"

Bullchit! That's EXACTLY what it is!

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if what he is selling is not JP reduced power springs with the yellow paint removed.

BTW, reduced power springs do help the pull on the average mil spec AR trigger. But help is all they do. Still a far cry from a nice after market trigger. Pick your flavor on the aftermarket.

I would hit up midwayusa for springs instead of ebay.
The $11 JP spring kit works wonders, it took my 6lb stock AR15 trigger to 3.lbs and I have not had a single problem since w/heavy trigger pull. Its just about perfect...except its still not a drop in timney, but its not $200 either.

I like the RRA 2 stage. It is not as nice as my Timney but still a nice trigger. I have the RRA in my hunting AR.

RRA 2 stage trigger WITH a set of JP springs (or those ebay springs) is a very, very nice trigger. And no, never had a primer fail to fire with this set up.

First trigger, first gun was a RRA 2 stage, second trigger, 2nd gun a Geissele SSA-e, third was a run of the mill combat trigger that I put 10 dollar JP springs on.............Love that JP trigger for hunting. You cant beat the feel for the price.

I have a AR ive put over 800 rounds through with no problems. I installed JP reduced power springs (yellow ones) i also polished up the contact points with a dremel and polishing compound. NOT REMOVING ANY METAL. You can also install a set screw through the bottom of hole that holds the pistol grip on. You twist it up until it pushes up against the back of the trigger. When the trigger releases the hammer back it off one turn. Make sure your disconnect still engages and has proper clearance with the hammer. Be sure to thread lock the set screw. Its called ".50 cent ar-15 trigger job" and better instructions can be found online. Its a great cheap alternative to after market triggers. If you have the cash to spend [beeep] Geiselle makes wonderful aftermarket triggers.

If you have to replace your standard RRA trigger with a RRA 2 stage match ($120.00), you will be much better off to get a good after market trigger.
I have 3 RRAs and each one came with a National Match lower with a 2 stage match trigger. I added the JP spring kit and they have good triggers for field rifles.

JP spring kit on the ACT trigger and an adjustable grip screw. Very nice trigger when done. JoeBob's has it all.

I don't know what one goes for, but Geissele's high speed NM match is hard to beat.
