Refurbished Redfield Question

I have been shopping around for a new scope for my black powder .45 CVA Optima. I found this from Natchez.

Redfeild 3-12x44mm Partner Refurbished Riflescope
Item Price: Regular $189.00 for $89.00

This is one of the famous Partner scopes sold in the Marts for $189.00. Matte Finish. Waterproof, shockproof & fogproof. Lenses are multi-coated.

Any body have an opinion on this being a good deal or should I stay away???

I got one from Walmart two years ago for $94 including tax. It was quite a good scope for the price. I would not pay $189, but at $94 I wished Walmart had more than just one. Oh well, I am glad I got the last one they had....:)

I picked one of those up a couple years ago. It's not a bad scope, but not a great one either.

The turrets are the same design/type as what you'll find on Tascos.

It didn't have the optical quality of a mid 70's Denver Redfield 3 to 9 I have. But again, it's not terrible.

I sent mine back to Natchez for an exchange up to a Bushnell Elite 3200 3 to 9. Check the prices of those... they are often on sale, especially at Natchez.
