4064 is not first choice for 223.... because it is a little slow.... but 4064 will work o.k. .... dupont used to list loads for it all the time... but you will not get the velocity you would get from a.... more appropriate powder for a 223 sized case
do not go below 24 gr.....
on 40 & 50 gr bullets you can put as much in the case as will fit.... and will be o.k in not being over pressure....
on heavier bullets go to hodgdons website....
with a full case ( or 85% to 90% full) you may get pretty good accuracy.......
probably will not be able to get the velocity you could get from benchmark, or h335... or 748 or rl7 or h322 or 4198 or xterminator or TAC or etc.....
powders normally thought of as being appropriate for a 223 sized case
