Reloading cost

Hey just checking what guys are spending per round of like 243 or 22-250.I'm sure someone out there has done the math to figure it out so thought it would be interesting to know what people are coming up with to compare to buying new. Thanks

Not sure about cost per shell, haven't put that much thought into it. However, after using a cost calculator the other day I am saving something like $19.86 per reloaded box.

+1 that is about what I had come up with for .223. Haven't done the math with the .243 yet but it should be maybe a penny or two higher just because the higher powder charge. Either way you won't save any money you will just end up shooting more!

Brass is the most expensive part of reloading so everyone you know that shoots ask them to save their brass for you. Even if you don't shoot that round you can trade it to someone who does for brass you may need.

Not counting brass and depending on what bullet, primer and powder you use, 100 rounds of 22-250 will cost about $35 to reload.
