when you share that link with him, if you havent already - i suggest you put some emphasis on "buy the [beeep] thing now". 
i dont know how long its been at that price, or how long it'll stay there - dont work for amazon, just a customer . but its too good a deal to pass up for a newbie - especially if he has access to a prime account to order it thru.
