The guy I was getting my reloading supplies from died. Need to find a place somewhere in Illinois to get some stuff. Really need to find somewhere fairly close to Decatur. I hate going to Cabelas, they never have what you want. If anyone knows of anyplace let me know
Thanks

Wayne Mannly in Windsor Il is the place to go! He stocks quite a lot of items, and his prices are fair. Have plenty of time before you go because he likes to talk. He also does a little gunsmithing. Great guy!! His number is 217-459-2077 tell him Lee Gardner told you to call. Hope this helps!! Lee

Anymore I buy 95% of my reloading supplies online. With SW going under that will go to 99%. Between my four regular vendors I can almost always find what I need, except for small rifle primers. But that's a different story.

I have what I need delivered to the door without driving all over the place.

I do the local shop fairly often & alot of mail order. I like to get the exact product I'm looking for, not a substitute. I just ordered some powder yesterday from Natchez. The price was reasonable, even with the hazmat fee. I can usually sniff out what I want between Natchez,Midway, Midsouth & a few others. I'll peek at Cabelas too.

Hey Doghntr,

There are a couple of places in Springfield and at least one in Bloomington. Jerry's in MTZ, but he doesn't stock much.

Dave's trading post in Pekin has powders and primers and shot... hit and miss on bullets...better selection of brass but not everything ... but a good selection of powder.... 309-353-7522

also pekin gun and surplus has powder and primers and some bullets......and it is right down the street......and he has a HUGE inventory of guns used and new....309-347-6060

Darnall's shooting range outside of bloomington has powder and some primers and bullets...... they have an indoor range outdoor range and trap & skeet fields....309-379-4331

smileys sport shop in bloomington has some powder & primers.... 309-663-1133

goldsboro's in bloomington has shotgun reloading stuff.... but is only open mornings...... but will order powder or bullets or primers for you and have delivered to store once a month...... so you can have them order for you and pick it up if you want to avoid haz mat.. or shipping costs on one box of bullets etc.......no bullets unless you order them.....309-829-2530

there is a shooting range in springfield ...... south ...... off I55..... bullet express 217-585-0130.... they had a good selection of powder..... and some bullets the last time i was there.....

Thanks ILMO!

I looked those up but you beat me to posting them!

Bullet Express is somewhat hard to find by their address. It's in a warehousing district. Once you've been there it's very easy to find! I think they have an indoor pistol range, too.

Absolutely right... he has a pistol range, 25 & 50 yard range, and they are inside. I have only shot in the pistol. The guy who owns it is John Thurman. I didn't read all of ilmo's post to see that he already had Bullet Express.

In Christ,
