Rem 700 short action with reverse mounted rail?

Does anyone know if the 90 degree bolt throw of the 700 action would get in the way of a reverse mounted extended picatinny rail, with a thermal quick detach mounted on it? Ive successfully done this with a Ruger american but it has a 60 degree bolt throw. The bolt slightly contacts the rail so im guessing its a no go.
