Rem 700 Trigger Part Needed

I'm in need of a Safety Snap Washer (C-Clip) for an older 700 trigger. 1998 vintage to be exact.
Remington requires retailers that sell their parts to only sell this threatening little c-clip to FFL holders. Since I'm not an FFL holder I can't buy it from Numrich or Brownells. I can spend my hard earned money on all of the Remington Rifles I care to, but can't buy a stupid little clip that holds the safety and bolt release in place. Grrr
I feel a rant coming so I better keep this short.
Do any of you have one that I can buy from you. I would appreciate it if you do.
Numrich says they occasionally have them from sources other than Remington that don't require a FFL. They're out of them and have been for the last 6 months that I've been looking for one.
Sometimes Remington makes me crazy!!!!
So anyone that has one, name your price.
Thanks

You should be able to go to place, in your town that sells industrial hardware and purchase the e clips. Even a Tractor Supply or heavy equipment part type place. should be no problem.

Larry,,,,,,I tried the parts houses here, and a couple of places that sell fasteners. Lots of hair pin clips and other clips that came close but not quite right.

SKB,,,,,,,,Remington's drawings call it a "Safety Snap Washer" and that's why I called it that in my original post. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
I haven't been looking for this part 24/7 for 6 months. It really wasn't a priority and I've just been hoping to find one at a gun show or maybe stumble on one at a gun shop or something. I just got another rifle that I would like to use it on and thought I'd see if anyone had one laying around. Thanks for the offer but I'll find something.

No offense Larry but I don't think you understand where RePete lives and how hard it is to get parts. He lives so for out of the way the they have to have a third dimension delivered in so they can get depth perception.

Hey Pete

I will sell you an entire trigger for 20 bucks, I got one around here somewhere. I dont need it, I dont own any remmys! Came off of a ADL I bought about 2 years ago, never been fired! Just let me know.

FurHunter,,,Thanks but I already have 3 Remington Triggers. Two of them are the "New and Improved X-Mark" that have that star shaped clip (check with SKB for proper name of this part) that's impossible to reuse. The older one that I'm trying to replace one of the x-marks with is a pretty nice trigger but the "E-Clip" went flying a long time ago and I never did find it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Tell ya what I'll do though. I'll trade ya one of the x-mark's for an "E-Clip". /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
There's a gun show in Lewiston this week end. Maybe I'll find one.
