REM TAKE OFF BARRELS

My friend and I want to build some thumpers out of our
boring 30/06 700's. We are looking for 338/06, 35 whelen,
8mm/06, 9.3/?, 375/06 or mag calibers in rem take offs or
reasonably priced custom take offs. Let me know, what you
have for sale, or what gunsmiths or shops might have these
available.
Thanks,
Bud

Just a thought. Most people are having a big bore built so if you find a take off it might be because there was something wrong with it.

You can have your existing barrel rebored to the caliber of your choice for about the cost of a take off and installation. You will then have pretty much a new cut rifle barrel. This guy specializes in 338, 35, 9.3, and 375 reboring, $225for a 3 groove and $250 for a 4 or 5 groove.

My 35 Whelen is a older rebore and is a great rig.

We get take-off barrels and stocks (primarily 700's) from a custom rifle builder locally.

We have some we're discounting currently such as:

Remington 700 Takeoff Barrel 7MM MAG for $39.95 + $12 shipping on Ebay.

We also have some 24" Sporter Profile 300 WSSM barrels I could sell at the same $39.95 price.

That's about all we have right now IN STOCK currently in the way of magnum takeoff barrels. MOST of the barrels are taken off the actions with only factory test fire rounds through them, but we can't guarantee they're brand new due to us getting them from a gunsmith, who sometimes sourced the guns brand new, and sometimes the customer sent them in, etc.

The takeoff barrels we get in all are in good shape, and we don't keep any of the obviously used ones or look like they've been shot a whole lot.

They're a killer price at $40 if that's what you're looking for.
